MATERIALS AND TOOLS

Material may include but be not limited to the following items:

HANDOUT BROCHURE.
This will be a fully descriptive brochure of the Paraclete Foundation suitable for distribution to individual homes and individuals personally, at booths at flee markets, community affairs or other public functions where the Consultant feels they would be effective.  Each will bear the exclusive ID of the Consultant with means to take contributions in cash, by check or other means.  It will be devised in such a way that it might be used by the donor as a receipt for tax purposes.

MAILER
The mailer is designed so that the Consultant can send by the US Postal Service a description of the work of the Foundation and appeal for contributions with an envelope for mailing gifts. The returns will go directly to the Foundation who will promptly provide a receipt to the tax payer/donor.  This mailer will be sent to lists provided by the Consultant at its on expense. The list must be accepted by the Administration.
There will be special “advertising” mailers prepared to be mailed by the corporate offices. This will be a cooperative effort where returns are quick, easy and sizeable.  This is being developed at this time.

PRESENTATIONS
There will be especially prepared presentations which Consultant can use personally and others for distribution for meetings and occasions when others will be making the request for donation.
These will include presentations directed to:

  • Overhead projections to explain the foundation, its mission and what is involved… Approximately 20 minutes.

  • Overhead projections emphasizing volunteer activities and political action.

  • Overhead projections addressed to special groups such as:

Tax payers
School Boards
Professional groups such as Lawyers and Paralegals, Judges, Law School Students and Professors
Political meetings with or without office holders in attendance
Presentations to office holders. This might address specific issues or the Foundation in general

  • Educational material for High School and College level audiences with strong information material on “If You Get Arrested”

We have found that many traps which are later found to be errors occur during the arrest/investigation process and in the preparation of the Pre Sentencing Investigation Report.  This is a major Problem.

These presentations can be made to inform and educate, but also to generate contributions and volunteers.

There will be prototype (boiler plate) material for preparing Grant Requests. These can be sent to anyone but must be sent by the Foundation so that any doubling up or confusion or conflict can be avoided.

VCR, CD and VIDEO MATERIAL
This will follow in subject matter along the lines of the above themes and targets.

RADIO PROGRAMS
These will be specially produced works on specific issues, targeted to tell special horror stories, or call the general public to action on a specific issue. These will involve interviews and speeches as needed.

TELEPHONE SCRIPTS
Telephoning can be a valuable tool. It is cheap and can be quite productive. Special care must be taken in the use of telephone for solicitations. While Non-Profit organizations have wide latitudes, care must be taken to abide by local and national laws. An hour a day can produce hundreds of dollars a month and is an excellent source of income where Consultants work with volunteers in their own area!

CONFERENCES, SEMINARS AND PUBLIC EVENTS
The coordination of the distribution and use of this material is important to maximize the financial potential. We will be working with you, the Regional Consultant to put on conferences, study groups and displays at fairs, professional conferences, conventions and other public events where you can generate good numbers of donors, volunteers and affect the think of many people.

For Flea Markets and other events, there will be a portable display available to attract attention and to present any number of messages in different media: vcr, digital, powerpoint, etc.

LOGO MERCHANDISE: T-Shirts,caps and hats, buttons and pins, stickers and note pads, ash trays, key chains and other items that make up an entire line of saleable items will be available to generate funds and to promote our message.

You will be able to offer commercial establishments in your area an opportunity to advertise in our mailings to local or national mailings. These will pay high commissions.  They will represent considerable savings to merchants for direct mail advertising postage at non-profit organization rates which are allowed under certain conditions as joint-mailers. This will be attractive media to automobile dealers, banks, churches, major department stores, etc.

We will have a magazine to members and friends which, as it is developed, will offer opportunities to enhance your earnings.
